Czech national women team has beaten Swiss team 10:7 at the World Championships in Beijing and, after three losses in a row, has recorded a valuable victory which keeps them in contention for the semifinals of the World Championships and also for the direct qualification to the Winter Olympic Games 2018!

Czech team led by Anna Kubešková started the game against the world champions of 2015 in the great style and stole one point in the second end and three in the fifth end. They continued with their patient game in the second half of the game and gained another victory. After seven games of the round robin,  the Czech team is tied for the third place with Russia, Switzerland and USA.

Up tomorrow Czech team will play Korea in the morning session then they will have the afternoon off to relax and recharge their batteries before they face the Gold Medal favourites Canada in the evening.
