They passed through the Olympic Prequalification Event without a single loss, but the journey is far from over. The Team Synáčková team is preparing for the next step towards the five rings – the Olympic Qualification Event in December. “We’re training hard and analyzing our opponents. We know they’ll be strong,” says skip Linda Nemčoková.

The Czech women’s curling team made a strong impression in the Prequalification Event, winning all their matches. “It was a great experience, but we’re staying grounded. The real challenge is ahead,” Linda emphasizes.

Preparation is already underway. “We’re working on strategy, fitness, and mental resilience. Every detail counts,” she adds. The team is also studying potential rivals: “We’ve seen some of them in action, and we know they’re capable of surprises.”

Linda highlights the importance of team chemistry: “We’ve grown a lot together. Trust and communication are key.” She also appreciates the support from fans and the Czech Curling Association: “It means a lot to us. We feel the energy behind us.”

The Olympic Qualification Event will be held in December, and the stakes are high. “We’re aiming for the Olympics, but we know it won’t be easy. We respect every team we’ll face,” Linda concludes.
