Czech Curling has gained a new partner in the Group CEZ, a leading energy company and a long‑standing supporter of sports, education, and socially beneficial projects in the Czech Republic.

Why curling?
“Curling is a sport where the energy invested in every detail matters—precise timing, focus, and team cooperation. Just as in the energy sector, it is essential to think ahead, work with performance, and seek efficient solutions. These principles have long been close to the Group CEZ, which is why we decided to support the development of curling in the Czech Republic,” says Milan Záhorka, Sponsorship Manager of the Group CEZ.

Statement from the Czech Curling Association
“We greatly appreciate the support of the Group CEZ and the trust it is placing in Czech curling. We see this partnership as an important step in the further development of our sport—whether in supporting the national teams, working with youth, or raising awareness of curling among the wider public. We believe that this cooperation will be beneficial for both sides,” says Karolína Frederiksen, President of the Czech Curling Association.
